» HPP „Djerdap“ «
A monumental structure, fifth in size in the world, ever since 1972 when it became available for visits, has welcomed over a million people. It is the first hydropower plant built on the Danube- a project that Yugoslavia and Romania invested in over $450 million.
» Turkish fortress „Fetislam“ «
Dating from XVI century- Fortress „Fetislam“ (Feth-ul-islam meaning „the victory of Islam“) – was built by the Turks in 1524 after conquering these parts of Serbia, and with the aim to summon the troops for the for the substantial campaign against Vienna. Kladovo’s fortress is one of the six Serbian towns which keys were handed over to Prince Mihailo at Belgrade’s Kalemegdan Fortress in 1867. Kladovo’s fortress is situated at the west entry roadway to Kladovo.
» „Diana“ «
Roman and early-Byzantium military camp dating from the II century AD. It was the summer residence of the emperor Trajan during his staggering constructional activities in this sector of the Iron Gate. The canal, 3, 5 km long, was protected by the fortification where the slaves used to drag the galleys through Djerdap’s whirls. It represents just a chapter in the book about the vestiges of the Roman civilization here on the Djerdap.
» The remains of the Trajan’s Bridge with Pontes «
The remains of the Trajan’s Bridge with Pontes, a military camp which protected it- II century AD. Constructional miracle by the famous architect Apolodor of Damask who managed to bridge over the Danube in merely (for that time) 2 years (the length of the bridge was 1127m) and brought the emperor Trajan the glory, helping him conquer new province- Dakia, which used to take up two thirds of today’s Romania.
» Vratna Monastery «
Dating from XIII century, with its famous Vratna Gates-massive stone arches above the river Vratnica. This geomorphologic monument of nature is of great significance and it has been under the government protection since 1957. Hunters’ house, made of wood and stone, is situated at the entrance of the reservation and contains ten rooms, a living room with a fireplace and beautiful veranda.
» Rajac Breweries «
Near Negotin. We offer the visit to the unique architectural complex of wine cellars, made from the middle of the XVIII century until the 30s of the last century. In the breweries, you can taste or buy wines prepared and nurtured in the traditional way. The price of a lunch in the breweries is a matter of the arrangement.
» Archeological Museum „Iron Gates“ «
Preserves cultural and historic treasure of all the civilizations that had left its mark on this region, from Lepenski Vir to Ottoman Empire. It is located in the town center near the hotel.
» „Djerdap“ boat ride «
Romantic ride in the only tourist boat on our part of the Danube. At the boat’s disposal are 120 seats on the upper deck and the luxuriously furnished lounge, bar, kitchen and the surround system on the entire boat. During the one-hour ride you can enjoy panoramic sightseeing of Kladovo, Turkish fortress Fetislam, Romanian city Turn Severin, the remains of the Trajan’s Bridge and the reconstructed fortification Ada Kale on the Romanian island Shimian.
» Djerdap Gorge and National Park „Djerdap“ Cruise «
Orom Kladovo, the boat passes through ship sluice of HPP „Djerdap“ dam, up the Big and Small Chasm (the most beautiful parts of the gorge) to Tekija. The cruise offers panoramic sightseeing of a few significant places in this attractive region; among the others we set apart Trajan’s Board from 101 AD, Hajducka Vodenica (Bandits’ Mill), Decebel’s features carved into the rock and Mrakonia monastery on the Romanian side, town Tekija- known to the fishermen and tourist for the traditional tourist, sports and cultural manifestation „Zlatna Bucka (Churn) of Djerdap“; then „Diana“- Roman and early-Byzantium military camp dating from the II century AD and fortress „Fetislam“ nearby Kladovo. The boat goes through the tight passage which is both the narrowest point on the entire Danube’s flow (150m), and has the greatest river depth ever measured in Europe of 93m in the Small Chasm. Experienced guides will be taking you through all these places and through the chronology of the events they witnessed; and top chefs, with their fish specialties, will prepare you a wonderful meal on the boat.

The area of Miroch Mountains which expand from the Danube, taking up the part of the Kladovo municipality, is incredibly rich in various types of bigger and smaller game. Of noble game, the breeding grounds in this hunting area of the municipality of Kladovo have: wild boar, doe, rabbit, and chamois of a rare kind, which can be seen in Serbia only in the regions of Tara and Djerdap. Of wildfowl we have pheasant, partridge, quail, turtle-dove, wild pigeon, wild drake, goose, coot etc. and of pests-fox, badger, jackal, wolf, skunk, marten, wild cat, and various birds of prey.
» Fishing «
Dhe part of Danube from the Small Chasm in Djerdap Gorge to the confluence of the Slatina River has been known for centuries by the abundance in fish. After the building of HPP „Djerdap I“ and HPP „Djerdap II“ two lakes were formed which covered the whirls, streams and ridges. There are numerous terrains for sport and economic fishing on the lakes and on this part of the Danube you can catch various sorts of fish- catfish, perch, and bucov, which reach staggering dimensions, and occasionally you can catch a ? When talking about still fish, dominating sorts are chiton, bream, although you can successfully fish for barbell, on the terrains right downstream from HPP „Djerdap I“. Our agency offers to its guests the services of obtaining temporary licenses for fishing from the shore, as well as very attractive „School of Churn“, in duration of seven days, with top instructors- Danube fishermen with the lifelong experience.
» Old Town Core «
Trades and handcraft center of Kladovo, also known as “Old Charshija”, was built in the first half of the XIX century by relocating all the shops, inns and other objects from the vicinity of Fetislam to the open grounds opposite the Danube. Since all the objects in Charshija kept their constructional and architectural characteristics of the time they were created in, this part of the town is, as cultural treasure, put under protection and represents the favorite promenade for the people who live in or visit Kladovo as the street is closed for traffic. Danube’s riverside walkway with its soft lanterns is perfect for long, romantic walks, after which you can drop into one of the numerous cafes and restaurants in the old town core. In his time, Serbian prince Milos Obrenovic brought the act by which the numeral proportion between the houses and inns in the towns could not be disturbed and it rated 10 to 1.
